About Us
Larga Vista Dance
empowering women through art and health
Our Mission:
At Larga Vista Dance, we blend the artistry of dance with women's healthcare education and experience. We explore the harmony of dance enriched by vital healthcare knowledge, empowering women through the synergy of art and health.
Our Vision:
We aspire to utilize our work as a platform for sharing women's healthcare education with dancers, choreographers, and the wider community, promoting healthy living and advocating for funding in women's healthcare research. Our mission is driven by two key objectives: (1) to connect our choreographers with healthcare professionals who share women's healthcare education, as well as patients who offer their experiences, inspiring choreographic creativity which is then shared with community; and (2) to equip professional dancers with evidence-based techniques that enhance musculoskeletal health, mental wellness, and overall longevity.

Our Story
Larga Vista Dance was co-founded by Adelita Hinojosa-Martin and Ali McClellan.
We connected through our mutual ballet ergonomics coach and mentor, Arleen Sugano (Miss A). With both of us working in healthcare, we sought to integrate our professional healthcare experiences into our choreography. Recently, following a series of injuries, we felt inspired to focus our mission on merging women's healthcare education and experiences with performing arts. Our healthcare experience has made us aware of the significance of sharing evidence-based education and personal stories, allowing us to connect with others on a deeper level.
